Stora Enso’s most important raw material is wood, a renewable resource. All of Stora Enso’s products are recyclable and recovered fibre is a vitally important raw material.
The share of bio-fuels in energy production is high. Bio-fuels accounted for 60% of the Group's total annual fuel consumption for energy processes in 2001.
