Several mills conduct image surveys, and
there are numerous country- or industry-specific rankings. Due to
differences in methodology, sampling, and criteria, it is not possible
to derive an overall picture from these, however. How various stakeholders
perceive Stora Enso has not been evaluated systematically on the
corporate level.
One way to assess the perception of Stora Enso's communications
is to participate in various competitions. Stora Enso's annual reports,
web communications, and stakeholder magazine have been ranked highly
in several national and international surveys.
