Stora Enso transported 74.5 million tonnes of raw materials and products in 2004, up from 69.5 million tonnes in 2003. Almost all transportation is carried out by subcontractors. Transportation by ship is dominant in terms of Stora Enso’s total transportation flows, but rail and road are also significant modes of transport.
